Avionics Installer

Description and Responsibilities

The avionics installer will be responsible for performing avionics equipment upgrades and electrical work on corporate business jets. The avionics installer will remove and replace avionics components, fabricate wire harnesses and perform installation duties. The avionics installer will also perform terminations, ring outs and functional tests.

The qualified avionics installer candidate or aircraft electrician will have two (2) + years of recent experience performing avionics installations, avionics modifications, and / or avionics upgrades on fixed wing aircraft for consideration. Candidates must have experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Corporate business jet experience is preferred. Per client company requirements, candidates must have a verifiable high school diploma or equivalent for consideration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of reading and interpreting aircraft blueprints, drawings, diagrams and manuals, working knowledge of aircraft systems and manuals necessary to perform job
• Knowledge of maintenance manuals, parts catalog, applicable FAA documents
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
